Many Fulfillment Fund students are the first in their families to apply to and attend college. Many have never set foot on a college campus, and traveling out of town to visit a campus may be prohibitively expensive. The Fulfillment Fund's overnight and day college trips empower students with first-hand knowledge of the wide range of choices available to them, and help them envision themselves as a college student.

91% of Fulfillment Fund students in the class of 2011 graduated high school — the highest rate in the Fund’s 34-year history. This fall, 93% of these graduates will attend college, many becoming the first in their family to do so.
