Fulfillment Fund Board of Directors Co-Chairman, Dr. Eric Esrailian, has been busy!

Dr. Esrailian has been with the Fulfillment Fund for over a decade and continues to be a leader within the Fulfillment Fund and throughout the community.

A gastroenterologist at the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles, Esrailian has devoted his life to the service of others.  He believes the Fulfillment Fund plays a critical role in ensuring educational equity and a brighter future, not only for students the Fulfillment Fund serves, but for the community as a whole.

“The Fulfillment Fund works with more than 2,700 under-resourced Los Angeles students each year to help them achieve the dream of a college education.  Statistically, just 1 in 10 low-income students who enroll in college will graduate within six years, compared to students in the Fulfillment Fund program, where 8 in 10 students will graduate college.  It is clear that the Fulfillment Fund provides essential tools and support to ensure that students not only succeed, but thrive.  I am proud to be part of an organization that is changing the future for Los Angeles young people, their families and our communities.”

In addition to his work with the Fulfillment Fund and UCLA, Esrailian is involved with the Hammer Museum, the X Prize Foundation, the Motion Picture & Television Fund and the Armenian General Benevolent Union.

Esrailian also served as a producer on Survival Pictures upcoming movie “The Promise,” a historical drama starring Oscar Isaac, Christian Bale and Charlotte Le Bon, that tells the story of the Armenian people at the outset of World War I.  All proceeds from the film will be donated to charity, and because of Esrailian’s leadership, the Fulfillment Fund will be one of the film’s beneficiaries.
