Letters to Mentors: "Thank You!"

We’re grateful for our dedicated mentors who impact students’ lives. We asked students to write thank-you cards to their mentors in honor of “Thank Your Mentor Day” on January 16.

Here is what a few Fulfillment Fund students had to say:

“Dear Matt, I would like to thank you for all that you have done for me. You are an amazing person and a great mentor. Your support has helped me accomplish a lot of goals in life. I hope that you choose to mentor someone after me, so you can give them the same experience you’ve given me. Sincerely yours, Gregory.”

“Dear Rudy, I like how we hang out and I’m still better than you at basketball. The next time we play make sure we have ankle insurance. Thank you for everything you’ve done. Sincerely, Deon.”

“Dear Cari, Thank you for everything, thanks for all the moments we’ve been together. Thank you for being like an older sister, for being with me and passing times together. You are such an amazing person, you are smart and I love how we always try new stuff and we always get lost. I love you Cari you are a part of my family. You could always count on me. Steph.”

“Dear Gail, Well I’m thankful for helping me with what I need. For giving me advice on school and knowing I can ask you anything. I am just thankful that you are concerned about me and how I’m doing at school. I appreciate all you have done for me. Maria.”

“Dear Brandon, You’re a cool guy and an outgoing person. I was really thinking the program was going to be weird but when I got to know you it became good. Hope to see you soon! Thank you. Johnny.”

We’d like to thank all Fulfillment Fund mentors for their dedication to our students, during National Mentoring Month and throughout the year. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in becoming a mentor, please learn more at: http://www.fulfillment.org/mentor.
