We've kicked off our "31 Mentors in 31 Days" campaign to match new volunteer mentors to guide students on the path to college.
For more than two decades, the Fulfillment Fund has matched students with caring, committed adult mentors who help support students on their path to high school graduation and a successful transition to college.
“Strong mentoring relationships are one of the reasons why so many Fulfillment Fund students become the first in their family to graduate high school, enroll in college, and graduate college,” said Kenny Rogers, CEO of the Fulfillment Fund. “You can help a young person prepare for a successful future.”
The Fulfillment Fund’s approach to mentoring is unique because of its college-access focus. Fulfillment Fund mentors help to expose a student to a new world, to see first-hand the long-term benefits of college for the entire family. Additionally, Fulfillment Fund staff advisors provide ongoing, dedicated support to every mentor and student, and students receive college counseling, financial aid assistance, college day trips, SAT prep and other resources.
