Allysunn Walker-Williams joined the Fulfillment Fund team as Chief Executive Officer in March 2019. A bridge-builder and effective communicator with a visionary voice, Allysunn has been an advocate for under-resourced and under-invested communities throughout her career.
Allysunn came to the Fulfillment Fund from the California Council on Economic Education (CCEE) as President and CEO, where she led a statewide consortium of seven Centers for Economic Education and dozens of partners that promote economic education and financial literacy through education PK-12 teachers, students and their parents. Through her leadership at CCEE, she drove exemplary results that increased the group’s service capacity 20-fold, doubled the organization’s annual fundraising revenues, launched landmark programs, and accelerated successes through key partnerships.
Prior to CCEE, Allysunn was CEO and Founder of the Walker-Williams Group, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in community economic development and market-driven, innovative strategies for community restoration. Prior to the Walker-Williams Group, Allysunn served as the Chief Real Estate Officer of the Fresno Housing Authority, overseeing $150MM in affordable housing development, creating mixed-income, mixed-price and mixed-race communities.
Allysunn has extensive experience in strategic planning, program and business development, and evaluation. She serves her community through participation in the National Alliance of Economics Educators, the California Jump$tart Coalition for Financial Literacy Board, Union Bank Community Advisory Board, the FDIC Alliance for Economic Inclusion, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Task Force “Women Health and Money @ Work,” and the Los Angeles Education Partnership Resource Council. She was recently profiled by State Farm Insurance as one of their “National Community Heroes.”
Allysunn firmly believes that a college education is essential to ensuring that students are prepared to take advantage of opportunities and be competitive in our global economy. She graduated with a BA from Harvard University, going on to earn an MPH from UCLA with distinction and an MBA from CSU Fresno Craig School of Business where she also served as an instructor for two years. She is the proud mother of two college-bound high schoolers and enjoys reading, traveling, writing and playing tennis.
