In her role as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations Amelia works with the CEO and other Development and Programs staff to cultivate, solicit and steward foundation and corporate donors and prospective donors. She has a strong background in writing, fundraising, and nonprofit management and a history of working for educational and healthcare institutions. Amelia has provided grants support for the Fulfillment Fund since September 2018 and has nearly 15 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
Prior to joining Fulfillment Fund, Amelia worked at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as a Director of Development and as Director of Foundation Relations, where she partnered with both individual and foundation donors to support various areas of the hospital including medical research, the Cancer Center, and the Institute for the Developing Mind. She launched her development career in Pittsburgh at the Medical and Health Sciences Foundation, the fundraising arm of the UPMC hospitals and the University of Pittsburgh Schools of the Health Sciences. Amelia has also provided freelance fundraising support to various nonprofits in both paid and volunteer roles and has served on the Board of the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester College and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three energetic young daughters, exploring the outdoors, playing board games, and cooking meals together.
