Amy Grat is an accomplished leader in career education and youth development, bringing over 20 years of transformative experience to her role as Chief Executive Officer of Fulfillment Fund. As the daughter of a teacher and a nurse, a passion for helping others was instilled in her from an early age. A relentless connector, Amy thrives on empowering young people, viewing mentorship as a partnership where she learns as much from her students as they do from her.
Before joining Fulfillment Fund, Amy served as CEO of EXP – The Opportunity Engine, where she successfully expanded the organization’s reach to over 8,200 students annually and achieved an impressive 350% increase in revenue. Amy has built a community of individuals who have become like family, and she is continuously humbled by the wisdom and resilience of the young people she serves. Her innovative strategies and commitment to student success have positively impacted countless lives, equipping students with the skills and networks necessary to thrive in today’s competitive landscape. At Fulfillment Fund, Amy is focused on advancing the organization’s mission to provide access to education and unlock economic mobility through career achievement.
Amy holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from San Diego State University. Her leadership has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal, Women In International Trade, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, underscoring her commitment to community impact and education.
