Carlos Navarro joined the Fulfillment Fund in the July 2018. In his role as a College Access Advisor, he provides in class presentations to 9th-11th grade students on various topics such as college admission testing, financial aid, and self-advocacy in order to inspire and empower students to make college a reality. Carlos also meets individually with students to ensure they meet A-G requirements and are academically on track to apply to the college of their dreams.
Prior to joining the Fulfillment Fund, Carlos was the High School Pathways Coordinator at A Place Called Home where he worked with 9th-12th grade students to create individual academic plans, taught various classes and workshops on college access for students and parents, and scheduled monthly college tours in order to prepare students for college.
Carlos received his B.A. in Spanish from California State University, Fullerton (Go Titans!) and hopes to continue his education in the near future.
