Communications and Development Coordinator
Kensey Thierry joined Fulfillment Fund in March of 2023 as the Communications and Development Coordinator. She supports the Communications and Development team, assisting with marketing, event coordination, and development.
Before Fulfillment Fund, Kensey attended Santa Barbara City College where she received her A.A. in Journalism. She then traveled up the coast to San Francisco, where she attended San Francisco State University and obtained her B.A. in Technical and Professional Writing. While in San Francisco, she worked as a marketing assistant for a start-up tech company and transitioned to a publishing assistant for an indie publishing house. Returning to Los Angeles, she honed her writing and graphic design skills as a copywriter for a music producer.
Kensey has always found her passion in helping the community around her. Beginning her volunteering journey with Childhelp at a young age, she then volunteered for Special Olympics of Southern California and assisted their board liaison. Kensey is passionate about helping young people access higher education and supporting students’ futures. Joining the Communications and Development team, she is continuing her pursuit of helping to uplift her community and provide equal access opportunities for our students.
