General Summary:
Under the Supervision of the Chief Program Officer, the Programs Project Associate- Part Time is responsible for the daily administrative operations of the Fulfillment Fund Program Teams. This entry-level part time role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills and enjoys working with high school and college students. The Project Associate will provide support for the Programs team and the organization’s program initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Supervisor.)

Programs Project Associate Duties

  • Support the coordination and implementation of program-related events and special projects as needed, including event logistics (virtual and non virtual) and registration.
  • Work with Chief Program Officer, Director of College Access and Director of College Success to support projects and programming for high school and college students.
  • Support Programs team with creation of flyers, video clips, and other promotion materials to students, partners, and families as needed.
  • Support outreach for all program events (virtual and non virtual) and assist in tracking and data collection for constituent participation for aforementioned events.
  • Support the planning and execution of Programs projects and initiatives including college application support, financial aid support, career readiness events, student workshops and presentations (virtual and non virtual), and community events.
  • Provide technical support for virtual events run by the Programs team.
  • Work closely with the Director of College Access and the Director of College Success to support advising to high school and college students.
  • Work with peer mentors and student ambassadors under the supervision of College Access counselors and College Success advisors.
  • Collaborate with Programs team members to manage and execute assigned projects.
  • Support Programs work on school sites as needed and as directed by the Chief Program Officer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory and Team Leadership Responsibilities:
The position has does not have any staff supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Proficiency in Canva
  • Experience with webinars and virtual meeting platforms, preferably with Zoom or Teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills and collaborative
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Previous experience working with high school or college students
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional presentation in both phone communication and in-person contact
  • Ability to manage competing and shifting projects and priorities with time sensitive deadlines. High attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the College Application process and Financial Aid process

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
Experience with working with high school or college students or education.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • A current California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance coverage.

This job operates in a professional office environment with a hybrid workplace policy. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones. While performing the duties of this job, must be available to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends, and holidays. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employee will constantly work in indoor/outdoor weather conditions.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $21 per hour
