About Jinna

Jinna Lee was born as the first daughter out of 4 girls in Busan, Korea, where she was staying for the first 18-years of her life. She attended Ewha Woman’s University in Seoul, studying Biology, and came to the US to pursue her master’s degree, and ended up living in the States. She has lived in 5 different states- CT, KS, NE, MI, and CA, and, visited 7 countries, — Korea, Japan, China, Canada, Mexico, Italy, and the US — and lived more than two decades in both S. Korea and the United States. Upon her completion of UCLA College Counseling Certification in 2008, Jinna has supported as many international students and families as well we domestic students with their college application process. She understands how complicated the college application can be, especially for the first-generation student and their families, and does her best to support the students and families, meeting their needs. Jinna has a boy and a girl twins, who live in NYC, 3,000 miles away from her, pursuing their own careers and dreams. On the weekdays, she has been meeting with students at NOW Academy, working with the seniors’ college application, as well as other students on the Fulfillment partnership organization. On the weekend, Jinna can be spotted at the Santa Monica Beach, casually walking with her earpods listening to a song from Blackpink or a podcast from Brene Brown.
