We know that a student’s parents can be a huge part of their decision to go to college. It’s our goal to empower our parents and guardians to be the best advocates possible for their future college scholars.
We offer two workshops per semester per grade level for parents which go over everything from navigating the internet to financial aid and the college application process. Through these touch-points, we create connections with parents early on to build relationships as a trusted resource in the community. By building this trust, we can help parents navigate the complex process of college and financial aid applications. Parents often reach out to us when their students are in college as well, helping us maintain their persistence rates beyond high school.
