1943 – 2021
In April of this year, we bid farewell to Fulfillment Fund’s first CEO, Andrea Deering Cockrum. She led the organization for more than 25 years before retiring. During this tenure, Fulfillment Fund grew from a grass-roots volunteer organization into a national model for college access programs that provide mentoring, classroom outreach, college counseling, and college scholarships. Thanks to Andrea’s vision, commitment, and passion to continually expand the work of the organization, college access became a reality for over 20,000 unique students.
The Fulfillment Fund community is saddened by the loss of Andrea, and our thoughts are with her family all of those who she touched so deeply. We are grateful for the firm foundation she has given us. We hope to honor her legacy by continuing to serve our students with the same passion and commitment she demonstrated every day.
