Fulfillment Fund works to make college a reality for students growing up in educationally and economically under-resourced communities. With the generous support of donors, we build pathways to college, navigate educational barriers, create support networks, and empower future leaders.
Want to support our work but not sure about which way is best? There are plenty of possibilities to choose from! For several of the financial options below, we do recommend that you contact your plan administrator or professional advisor to determine if the gift method is right for you. And don’t forget, all donations made (or postmarked) before 11:59 pm on December 31, 2020, will be a tax deduction for the current calendar year.
Gift of Cash
Your outright gift of cash by check, ACH, or credit card will immediately help the students we serve.
Recurring Gifts
When you donate monthly, you’ll be a Fulfillment Fund Champion, meaning you will be part of a special community committed to protecting our students’ on their path to graduation.
Transfer of Stock/Stock Sales
Transferring shares of stock with a high capital gain/profit is an easy and smart way to donate and it’s tax-deductible. It’s a win-win — you’ll lower your taxable income by the full amount. Make sure to give yourself enough time for the full transaction to be completed by the end of the year by requesting the transfer of stock to the Fulfillment Fund by December 20, 2020.
IRA Gifts
If you are 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA up to $100,000. A donation transferred directly from your IRA to a qualified charity like Fulfillment Fund is generally not considered taxable income on your federal income tax return.
Donor-advised Funds
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of charitable investment account that provides an immediate tax benefit to you and allows you to recommend grants to charities of your choice over time. Granting to Fulfillment Fund through your DAF is simple and easy. You can recommend a gift today, or on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually) to help our students.
Wills and Bequests
You can plan now for a future gift by including a provision in your will or other estate plans. If you have already designated a gift to Fulfillment Fund in your will, or if you would like to do so, please let us know so we can show our appreciation and better plan for the future.
Shop and Benefit
We know that right now many people are struggling and might not be able to financially support the Fulfillment Fund by sending in a cash donation. But here are two easy ways you can turn your grocery shopping and online purchases into donations! Please note that the contributions Fulfillment Fund receives do not include your contact information or anything about your purchases.
- Support us on AmazonSmile, it’s an easy way to give back without spending anything extra. Just choose Fulfillment Fund as your charity, shop through AmazonSmile, and Amazon will take care of the rest.
- You can support us when shopping for groceries at Ralphs through their Community Contribution Program. It’s really easy to use: just link your rewards card to the Fulfillment Fund, and the more you shop, the more donations Fulfillment Fund will receive.
Get Social
If you’re still not sure you can support financially, you can help us share our mission. By sharing your experience with us amongst your friends, family, and network on social media, you’re helping us reach more people! Connect with us on our social channels on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
Inspire Giving
You can also set up a peer-to-peer fundraising page. Share your admiration for our programs and encourage those in your network to make a gift. You might even consider setting up a giving circle among friends and loved ones to encourage a group gift or fundraising goal.
Throughout the year, the Fulfillment Fund receives generous support from many individuals, companies, and foundations, and however you choose to support us, we are so grateful for you! If you have any questions about ways to give, contact giving@fulfillment.org.
