Ali Meisel is a seasoned development professional with more than 12 years of experience in the nonprofit and higher education sectors of Los Angeles. She attributes her career path as a fundraiser to her passion for helping enable young people from under-resourced backgrounds to access the tools and opportunities they need to build their best futures.
Before joining the Fulfillment Fund, Ali was a front-line development officer at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where she secured major and annual gifts totaling more than $4.7 million for the institution. Prior to UCLA Anderson, she was Director of Development at The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company, an arts-education organization serving at-risk youth and families in Los Angeles. She launched her development career at consulting firm Thurlow/Associates, where she secured funding and provided strategic development counsel to LA-based nonprofits.
Ali holds a BA in International Relations and French from Tufts University in Medford, MA. She was an AmeriCorps member with City Year Boston, serving as a teacher’s assistant and literacy tutor, as well as developing and implementing after-school programs and community service projects. She is a Southern California native and an avid hiker, yogi, and traveler.
