Cyndi Otteson is an award-winning marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in advertising, brand strategy, and communications. She has built a career around the power of storytelling—creating narratives that elevate brands, inspire action, engage audiences, and create lasting social impact.
Early in her career, Cyndi gained a strong foundation in advertising and marketing, working with major agencies and brands to hone her skills in campaign management, digital media, and consumer behavior. She quickly recognized the power of storytelling to shape perception and build connections, crafting campaigns that resonate emotionally and drive action. Her passion for using marketing as a force for social change really took off when she transitioned into the political and nonprofit sectors, where she now helps organizations tell their stories in ways that deeply resonate with their audiences and mobilize support for causes that matter.
Cyndi has transformed the way organizations connect with their communities and supporters through storytelling. Whether helping political candidates find their voice or advising nonprofits on engaging donors, she brings her expertise to the table to inspire action and create impact. Her work includes campaigns that have raised awareness for campaign finance reform, raised millions for refugee families, initiatives focused on racial justice, affordable housing, and homelessness solutions.
A graduate of UC Irvine with a degree in Sociology and Digital Arts, Cyndi is also an ICF Certified Coach, drawing on her coaching experience to empower leaders to develop their own impactful narratives. When she’s not working on marketing strategies or coaching clients, Cyndi enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, and volunteering with mutual aid groups in her neighborhood.
