Program Administrative Associate
Liz is a first-generation college graduate, born and raised in California. Like many of the students we serve, she attended an LAUSD high school in South-Central LA. She attended Cal State Dominguez Hills and graduated with a BA in psychology with a minor in sociology. Liz got through high school and college with no real direction in what she wanted to do. After graduating, she did a year of AmeriCorps as a college and career ambassador. That is where Liz found her passion in providing college access and career opportunities to students like herself that did not have that support or knowledge to further their education and career options. After a year of service, she went on to work for a non-profit organization as a college advisor at a Hollywood High School for more than four years.
Being the person to help students learn about the different educational paths they have at hand and, being the support system that she never had, is the best career path Liz could have chosen for herself. Now, being part of Fulfillment Fund, she is excited to be part of a team that she can share her passion and contribute to our mission of supporting students to attain a higher education degree and successful careers.
